ASPEN GROVE - CONNOR'S MMT

I went with Connor's Magical Mystery Tour this year up to Aspen Grove.  It is a beautiful, BYU owned family camp with a ton of activities for the kids.  Josh and Aiden are in Connor's group, and they are a few years younger so that makes it kind of tricky sometimes, but the boys had a ton of fun and got along really well.

Connor was old enough to do the ropes course if he wanted to this year.  I was so proud of him for deciding to do it.  It was over 40 feet off the ground, and he was really nervous, but he did it and did a great job!  I love how determined that boy is.

CONNOR'S 6TH GRADE GRADUATION

Mr. Connor graduated from 6th grade!  We are officially done with elementary school!  Now on to junior high...ugg!

Connor had a great year, only getting in trouble a few times.  Connor learned a lot about what is appropriate to say and not to say, he started noticing how cute some of the girls are, he grew his first armpit hair, and got his first girlfriend (that only lasted a week!).   I only got one concerned parent call, there was only one "almost fight" where Connor made someone eat dirt, he passed all of his classes, and I didn't have to go talk to any teachers...I call the year a success.

I freaking love that kid!

RACES, RACES AND MORE RACES

Our team started racing in March at Tour Del Sol, and I swear we haven't stopped racing until a few weeks ago.  I love the friendships that are strengthened, and the bonds that are formed throughout the biking season.  It's almost like we are more of a family than a team...I know it sounds cheesy, but it's true!  Summer got in a wreck just before the finish line at a race in Bear Lake.  I was behind her a couple of minutes, and when I got there, all of our team was surrounding her, helping her up, putting a helmet on her, finding her glasses, and getting her safely to the finish line.  I felt so sad that Summer had crashed, but I loved seeing the huge group of pink around her.  There were many other girls in the same crash, but their team was no where to be found.  We are just a little bit different!
